Idle Warship welcomes you to our first full length offering, Party
Robot. This started out as a path to musical freedom. When we
established Idle Warship, we did it for us. Now that we are giving you
this music, Idle Warship no longer belongs to us, it belongs to the
world. We don’t believe in labels for music. Labels make stop you from
hearing something before you listen to it. We appreciate those who
have taken this journey with us without judgement and enjoyed the
ride. To everyone who purchased our music on itunes and anyone who has
bought a ticket to an Idle Warship show, this is for you. All my party
robots stand up!

Its going to create a whole new generation of wack spolied bratdjs , of whiney little kids who will beg mommy and daddy to buy them new turntables because they think its cool to be a dj. Only to find out a few months later that they will sell there shiny new equipment b/c its too hard for them to actually learn. Its just another joke to further exploit and ruin what is already destroyed of a dying {Dead} art form / life style.. Djing. Keep it! Not interested , want no parts of it.
Have fun with your BET ,106 & park little kiddie bullshit.I can’t wait to see the back lash from this tho.. Its really gonna be hilarious
Swag Surfing….what is it and how does one surf swag? If you know the answer to this question please email, so I am informed. Isnt’ swag what he beer companies give the club for promotion? Like T-Shirts and Buttons where the eyes light up and say “Coors Light”. How would one surf a T-Shirt or Turn a T-Shirt on exactly? So once again…please enlighten me about Surfing the Swag or Turning on the swag…..just for my own information. ZZZZZZZZZZZ
This new “Generation” of Dj’s make me sick. It used to really bother me. But now I’ve just accepted the fact that they are here and aren’t going anywhere , kinda like roaches…. or pesky annoying flies or knats in the summer time that just won’t go away.
They front and take pictures holding up records..when they never even carried 5 to 6 pluss crates up and down the stairs to the club or Radio station on a weekly/Daily bassis.
Hell , they have never even carried another real dj’s crates for that matter.
The weak ones will always expose them selves and be put in a situation to were they won’t know what to do , they will AND DO rely on there technologies and they will fall flat on there face.. And I will be there to laugh at the ones who front 100% … HOWEVERI willhelp the ones who actually have paid some dues in our craft.
The trend is and has been…every one wants to be a dj now cause they think its “cool” and so easy to do. I watch dj’s undercut other dj’s and just move right into there gig.All because the “Fronter”has a laptop with 500 Gigs of “Funky Mixes” and have down loaded every Crooklyn Clan track the world has to offer.., they play those all night with nothing else in the mix…Oh…and please lets not talk about there mixes…
that’s a whole other unorganizeddeal. Then they try to scratch ontop of that too!!!
Don’t get me wrong.. I love seato.
But I love it even more when these wack ass dj’s have experienced the Vinyl revolution before touching there laptops..
EVEEEEEEEEEEERYONE IS A DJ! I’ve said it so many
times…and I will say it again , The Days of “Paying Dues” are over.
Have been for a long , long time,No one
gives a shit , Its as easy as 1 , 2 , 3 , The paying dues stage has been by
passed by a simple new formula ,
The “New Jacks” SimplyBuy a lap-Top , Down load mash ups remix’s
from Crooklyn clan. Wear a Shiny wacked out Ed Hardy T-Shirt , put on some
stupid sunglasses , “Pop there Collar’s ” Use the word Swag a lot…
and WALLLA! There now a dj.
ITS THE SAME STORY OVER AND OVER .. I guess its the same story every were with the ,“Check me out , help me out , I’m the shit.. I’m the best” Bla bla bla bullshit! Artists need to learn to humble themselves and create there own buzz and promotions. “IF YOU BUILD IT THEY WILL COME” PERIOD! Nowadays you have to build just a little bit faster then the next , what I like to call “Wack ass rapper” becausethere are literally MILLIONS of yall , trying to bumrush in the door AND YOU ALL SOUND THE SAME.. not having a damn clue about what your doing. You haven’t got a clue about what it really takes to know your business IN THIS MUSIC BUSINESS {not to be confused with music bizzznesss} Do you even have your material BDS OR MEDIA BASED registered? Are you getting any spins anywhere outside of your own city. Are you doing any shows outside your own city. HAVE YOU EVER LEFT YOUR CITY?Do you even know the importance of the radio game? Or are you just content doing local shows and selling your burnt cd with magic marker written on them. Or maybe you just sit there on your wack ass looking myspace pages and fall and belive your own hype.. Becouse your cousin says , “your dope”
MAN GET A CLUE! YOU RAPPERS BORE THE HELL OUT OF ME. Your material is Less then nothing..and means nothingYou want every thing handed to you because you are the best thing in your market {In your own head} ,”Don’t belive the hype is a sequel as an equal can I get this thru to you” Do you even know who said that?
Prob Not.
I’m just get fed up with this type of stuff.. But please… Wack rappers… send me your promos.. So I can rip them apart…..Ummm no don’t..that’s what I used to do and loved every minute of it. The truth isI gave up on yall {Wack Rappers} a while ago. No time for nonsense.. Now go back to your home made basement non pro tools using studios and finish idolizing Lil Wayne!
This is a worthwhile venture, so if you have a spare $25 laying around. Help make history. This could be the beginning of how things are done from now on.

PUBLIC ENEMY FANS RUSH TO FUND NEW ALBUM VIA SELLABAND
Iconic hip hop group Public Enemy led a new revolution in the music business when it announced a partnership with SellaBand.com on October 6th to finance the recording of their next album through “fan funding”. Now only two weeks after making that announcement, Public Enemy has raised over $50,000 from over 700 fans in 50 countries. Public Enemy is the first established act to sign up with SellaBand, which has found great success with independent artists since its European launch in 2006.
Public Enemy is aiming to raise $250,000 in increments of $25.00.
Fans will not only receive an exclusive, numbered copy of the album but will also share in the revenues from this upcoming recording.
“SellaBand’s financial engine model goes about restructuring the music business in reverse,” says PE frontman Chuck D. “It starts with fans first, then the artists create from there. The music business is built on searching for fans and this is a brand new way for acts to coming to create a new album with fans first, already on board.”
The $250,000 will be used to:
§A: fund the complete recording costs and expenses for its next album and
§B: Fund a strategic marketing plan for the worldwide release of the SellaBand album in 2010.

So, i have a meeting with my web guys about marketing the pool and the one thing they stress is for me to get involved and make the pool a community (shouts to Joel McHale). They tell me I’m a funny guy and have lots to say….so here it goes.
First thing i want to stress is that, these are just my daily rantings and honestly have no bearing on life or other people. They are the just the bitter ramblings of a man who loves music, but hates what it has become.
So let’s kick this thing off with some good news. DJ Jazzy Jeff and Undrcrwn Footwear and Apparel has offered up and exclusive mixtape featuring Jazzy Jeff on the wheels and Remixes of the King of Pop’s smash hits. This is free, so don’t think you have to pay for it….i did cop the shirt that goes a lot with it, but that is because i’m a HUGE JAZZY JEFF fan and want to support…..$42 bones for a T-Shirt is mighty high, but hip-hop comes with a price in 09…someone has to keep it alive.
